Set in April 2004, during the fall of Saddam Hussein, the film follows a family of Indian migrants illegally living in Iraq. As US-led forces occupy the country, the family is determined to give their youngest son, Chintu, a memorable 6th birthday despite the dangers. With no cake, a broken oven, and a bomb blast that brings American soldiers to their door, their kind-hearted Iraqi landlord Mehdi gets caught in the crossfire. The story explores themes of resilience, family bonds, and the human spirit in the face of adversity.
