Anjani, a migrant from Bihar, lives with his pregnant sister and brother-in-law on Delhi’s outskirts. He joins a monkey repeller squad stationed outside government buildings, but his inability to effectively scare monkeys leads to desperate measures—using a slingshot and dressing as a langur—which cost him his job. As he navigates the city for work, he finds fleeting love and camaraderie, but tragedy strikes when his mentor Mahender is lynched after accidentally killing a monkey. The film poignantly portrays the invisible struggles of migrant workers, ending with Anjani joining a religious procession, highlighting the cycle of despair and resilience.
