Sam (Hina Khan) works at a magazine company and has a neighbor Vivek (Rohan Shah) who has a crush on her. Her relationship with boyfriend Om Kapoor (Sid Makkar) is fragile as he only reciprocates feelings when he likes. At her birthday party, Om doesn’t attend, leaving Sam heartbroken. After the party, Vivek helps clean up, and a drunken Sam reveals her pain about Om. They share a passionate kiss and have sex, leading to unforeseen consequences.
