Nine years after the events of Toy Story 2, Woody watches as Bo Peep is donated to a new owner. Years later, Andy donates his toys to Bonnie before college. Woody struggles with being replaced as Bonnie’s favorite. During Bonnie’s kindergarten orientation, Woody helps her create Forky from a spork and craft supplies. Forky, now alive, believes he is trash and tries to throw himself away. Woody takes it upon himself to teach Forky what it means to be a toy, leading to an adventure that reunites him with Bo Peep and helps him discover a new purpose.
