Set in 1946 Lahore, Kalank follows the intertwined lives of Satya, Roop, Dev, Zafar, and Bahaar Begum. Satya, diagnosed with cancer, asks Roop to marry her husband Dev. Roop agrees but finds herself in a loveless marriage, seeking solace in music and eventually falling for the blacksmith Zafar, who seeks revenge on his parents. As communal tensions rise and India’s partition looms, love, betrayal, and sacrifice unfold against a backdrop of historical turmoil.
